EINHEIZSLAM VERT+MINIRAMP CONTEST SKATEBOARD+BMX SPORTGARTEN BREMEN

Jedes Jahr organisiert SUBVERT in enger Kooperation mit dem SPORTGARTEN-Team den EINHEIZSLAM am Tag der Deutschen Einheit (3. Oktober).

Dieses Jahr gab es erstmals mehr Halfpipe-Skateboarder als Miniramp-Skater! Bei den BMXern gingen mehr als Hälfte der für Halfpipe angemeldeten nicht an den Start, nachdem ein BMXer in der Miniramp schwer gestürtzt war und sich das Genick überdehnt hatte. Er konnte noch am selben Abend das Krankenhaus wieder verlassen.

Infos gibt's zudem im Sportgarten (www.sportgarten.de) und im subVert Store Hamburg.

Der nächste EINHEIZSLAM findet am 3.10.2011 statt. Dem wird ein Halfpipe-Contest in Hamburg am Samstag, den 1.10.2011 vorangehen - ein doppelter Grund, in den Norden zu reisen!

Hey Folks!

I celebrate my 40th birthday + 25 years of vertskating at Florabowl in Hamburg, Germany's best D.I.Y.-concrete spot, at friday-night, august 13th, 8pm (after I had to cancel the session on june11th due to rain).

If you don't know that place yet, check some of my pix or youtube. It's very scenic, especially at night, with our floodlights.

You can count on a big session, as not only the actual bowl-worldchampion of the master-class, Lester Kasai, wil come over from California, but also some european top-ams and pros might show up, as VANS communicates this event to the competitors of the VANS DOWNTOWN SHOWDOWN taking place that weekend.

We'll have some barbeque and beer for fucking cheap. All profit gets donated for the Rollsport Hamburg e.V., the club who payed for the floodlight.

The session might end at 3 a.m., so it's okay if you don't make it before midnight.

Hamburg is worth a trip anyways. Options are to hit the FRUITBOWL the next day, or visit "40-love", Lester Kasai's name for that oververt concrete vertramp reptile from the 70s behind a tenniscourt at Neumünster. And many more!

Even though teh head is cutted on this picture, the coping still didn't fit in!

By the way: Chris is very satisfied with the subVert decks! Here he rides the Mohawk.
