SkaReCo Beginner Pop 8.25” * 32.5” WB14 - 18”
These are our Completes that we have designed for skateboard beginners, but also offer benefits for everyone: variously adjustable wheelbase (axle spacing) up to 18 inches in length, with a normal popsicle length and potentially the same dimensions as professional skateboards, i.e. with 6.5” tail, 14 to 14.5” wheelbase and 7” nose, except that the kink on the nose is shifted forward. So you can start with a long wheelbase and short nose (both reduce the risk of falling) and later ride an almost normal deck.
The decks are made from Canadian Maple. The quality is great.
Our recommendation to parents who want to choose the right first skateboard for their child while it is not yet certain whether the child will develop into a trickskater or just want to cruise / do distances, but it is certain that it can also ride on roads with a bad surface (rough asphalt, sidewalk slabs with edges...) rolls: choose a Cruiser with Sharkwheels! (More on this below, under "Sharkwheel upgrade")
If money is tight, choose Price Point if necessary, but then add the €20 for Sharkwheels. Gliding without resistance and reducing the risk of falling is the best for the start!
And the set-up choice also includes the following option:
Sharkwheel upgrade.
The surcharge is usually extremely low, we hardly earn anything from it. But because Volker Lux, passionate skater, founder of subVert and the skate school, wishes everyone the best possible start on the board AND we received feedback from beginner customers that they roll over everything with Sharkwheels where they fell over with normal wheels , it is our belief that a beginner cruiser board should come equipped with Sharkwheels. bushings
For children with little weight you definitely need softer bushings.
Stockbushings (that is, the ones that come standard) are often too hard, especially with cheap trucks.

SYS non-abrasive griptape (black): €8 (highly recommended! New development from Germany to minimize wear and tear on shoes. Synthetic fiber instead of quartz sand! Of course it's also gentle on the skin and clothes when you wear it. But it still exists unfortunately only in black.
