TIP: We recommend cruisers for beginners, rather than skateboards with hard wheels. However, for an additional fee, these can be fitted with soft wheels and much softer bushings.
A good START
Skateboards aren't toys—they are pieces of sports equipment. You’re unlikely to succeed with low-quality gear. It doesn't have to be expensive, but it does need to be good enough for everything to work properly. Your child might lose interest at some point—but they certainly will if the wheels don't even spin properly.
