Grown Ups Beginner Skateboards
Here you will find decks and complete boards with a larger wheelbase, from 16 inch wheelbase. These allow a more secure, wide-legged stance. In beginner courses, we put adults on boards with a 24-inch wheelbase upwards, i.e. with 60cm and more between the axles. Once you've gotten the hang of it, shorter ones come into question, especially when you buy the board if you want to use it for a long time. But we really only recommend a "pro board" with a 15 inch wheelbase and less when the ollie is in place (and if you don't understand what I mean by that, choose 19 inches and up ;-)) A kicktail is important, i.e. a lever behind the rear axle that is bent up, but if you want to be absolutely on the safe side, you can also choose the SkaReCo Spike, for example, which doesn't have a real kicktail, but you can still rotate on the rear axle ( "Kickturn") and also comes up a sidewalk.... A kick nose, i.e. a nose bent upwards (part in front of the front axle) is not important for the first few months. Especially if you don't want a deck that is too long, you should choose a short nose in favor of a longer wheelbase.
