Learning boards –  – long boards with a large wheelbase (called "wheelbase," abbreviated to "WB," long wheelbase = "WB17" to "WB32") for secure footing – are extremely worthwhile for skateboarding beginners, but are rarely available for purchase. They're worth their weight in gold in the subVert skateschool courses. We recommend them for one to six weeks. After that, if you're inclined to do tricks, you should ride a board with a 16 to 19" wheelbase for the first year. Only once you've mastered the ollie is a typical "popsicle" skateboard the right choice.

We have around 40 rental boards of various types and are ready to add many more to our rental range.

Rental fees range from €3 to €5 per day;

depending on the board, they can be as low as €1 per day. We customize all boards for you, but to a much lesser extent than if you order a board from us. However, you can always have the bushings replaced for a lower body weight. Children definitely need softer bushings than what's normally included in boards.

PRICES = DEPOSIT!

The prices listed with the board are the deposit that must be paid. You can also keep the board for this money; it also represents the purchase price. So, if you decide to rent a board, you'll have to pay a deposit. If you're "in love," you don't have to give it up! If you return it, however, your deposit will be refunded after deducting the rental and shipping fees. It's also possible for us to assemble a board ACCORDING TO YOUR WISHES. For example, you can have a board assembled, just like you can have one made completely to your specifications at subvert, and then return it like a rental board. However, the fees are slightly higher in this case and must be clarified in advance.
