Theeve Trucks: Titanium Titans of Skateboarding
In the ever-evolving world of skateboarding, few companies have dared to challenge the status quo quite like Theeve Trucks. Born from a desire to push the boundaries of performance and durability, Theeve has carved out a reputation as one of the most innovative truck manufacturers in the game.
Origins: Where It All Began
Theeve Trucks was founded in July 2007, with a bold mission: to design the strongest, lightest, and best-performing skateboard truck ever made. While the specific founders remain elusive in public records, the brand’s identity is deeply tied to its pioneering use of titanium—a material previously unheard of in the skateboarding world.
From the outset, Theeve aimed to meet the demands of modern skateboarding, which had grown more technical and aggressive. Titanium, with its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, became the cornerstone of their engineering Philosophy.
What Makes Theeve Stand Out?
Theeve didn’t just enter the market—they redefined it. Their most iconic innovation is the TiHANGER, a one-piece axeless truck made entirely of titanium. This design is:
-
Twice as strong and 20% lighter than traditional trucks
-
Resistant to axle slip due to its single-piece construction
-
Engineered with True Turn Geometry for superior turning precision
-
Equipped with Bones Hardcore Bushings for enhanced responsiveness
Their product lineup includes:
| Model | Key Features | |
|---|---|---|
| TiHANGER | Full titanium hanger and axle | |
| TiKING | Titanium axle, hollow steel kingpin | |
| TiAX | Titanium axle, base model | |
| CSX | No titanium, budget-friendly, solid design |
Each model is tailored to different needs—from elite performance to everyday shredding.
