Grind-King
With deep roots in the Venice and Dogtown culture, Grind King was founded in 1988 by Donald Cassel. Donald invented the high-performance inverted kingpin that was designed to improve how skate trucks grind.
Because his invention was a “Grinding Kingpin” he shortened the name to “Grind King.”
Soon after that, Donald invented other successful skate hardware products and in 1990 came out with the first Grind King truck. Since then he has established Grind King as the leader in skate truck and hardware innovations.
